IAT manufactures platinised anodes in a variety of shapes and dimensions. Plating thicknesses up to 10 microns or 200 gram/m2 are possible, but 1,5 microns or 30 gram/m2 and especially 2,5 microns or 50 gram/m2 are the most commonly used thicknesses. The applications of platinised anodes is very broad, from cathodic protection to hard chrome plating, and from electro dialysis to precious metal plating.
Platinum is still competitive to MMO in certain cases, or it can even outperform MMO in specific applications. IAT has the production facilities to manufacture anodes made out of expanded metal, sheet material, bar, wire and tubes, and can platinize them in an electrochemical process. The anodes will be made according to your specifications and drawings.
